What is WOTC?

WOTC (Pronounced “What C”) is the Work Opportunity Tax Credit. It is a Federal Program that provides Tax Credits to the employers of categories of individuals who are considered to be at a disadvantage in the work marketplace.

Employers can take Tax Credits of up to $9,600.00 for each eligible employee. There is no cap on the number of tax credits an employer may take.

In most cases, employers are already hiring employees that qualify for WOTC. For these employers to begin generating Tax Credits, all that is required is for Walker Enterprises to begin screening their employees. Employers continue to hire and fire who they want, when they want!
